What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

4.7 and a hangover.
When will I learn that I simply can’t sit and chat into the evening anymore with my wine glass being constantly topped up.
Be careful - the last time I did that I ended up flat on my face when I stood up.

It’s DESMOND DAY!!! It’s here. Oh the excitement of it...I’m trembling with anticipation. Thanks for all the reviews over the past few days.

I just have to decide on my angry goldfish strategy - do I make a load of splashes and glare through the tank or just keep swimming around my castle, shaking my head. I suppose I might learn something but I’m a goldfish so I’ll forget it 7 seconds later!

Meanwhile on the meter it is 6.3. I’ve had a spiky few days with more 7s than I’m happy with and the Hba1C predictions have been creeping up for no good reason so 6.3 is actually alright and a small step back in the right direction.

Oh yes! I remember your post.
I dont know if its low carb eating or just getting old but I certainly feel the effects a lot more these days.
To be honest for me it was probably an accidental hypo through drinking but not eating because there was only pizza. Lesson was if drinking at all eat bad food rather than no food because dying quickly is not a form of treatment.

@DJC3 you are a proper Cornish Pis*ty As to the when will I learn, as I constantly tell Mrs P "I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you" 4.9 from me today Tom and Jerry + Scooby Doo again to start the day. Wonder if that combo will work again?

Morning all, a nice 6.9 especially after my hypo at 3am so I must have treated it properly! Half day today and off tomorrow for my 22nd wedding anniversary, scary to think I have been diabetic longer than I have been married. I am taking my wife to a lovely restaurant in Newcastle called The House of Tides, seriously looking forward to it, and its a taster menu so lots of courses, suits me.

Take care everyone.

Morning all....5.3 for me this summer morning. A bit like being in the tropics last night with the Bzzzzzz of a gnat / noseeme
buzzing round my ear.... Have a great day all....

5.7 today.
Cooking scrambled eggs and bacon for me and hubby who has joined me on my woe and has lost 8lbs in less than 4 weeks. Very proud of him, its his day off today so trip to Yorkshire with the FIL planned. Weather isn't too bad. Hope the rain holds off!

Good morning All. You are so right @Goonergal about walking. Its free it fits in with when you have time and I dont know why I dont do it more especially as there are nice places near me.
Anyway another 7.3. Need to get on top of this pronto and relax.
@ianpspurs you reminded me of all the Postman Pat videos in my past I knew them off by heart. Lol. I have a sneaky feeling you are enjoying the cartoons as much as your grandson. Give it a few years you’ll graduate to Playstation.
Have a great day everyone, its heating up again.

Hope it works again. Grandchildren are definitely good for your health.
I have a few weeks of ‘loom bands’ ahead of me - coloured elastic bands looped together to make long strings. No idea what the purpose is but the 7yo is hooked on them.
