What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Enjoy your family time in Dublin - yes agree with you my bgs generally are higher the later I’m up especially if do stuff before taking the blood! Bet that breakfast was good

Morning All. 6.0 at 08.00. Yesterday fasted all day till supper at 8pm which was 3 egg mushroom omlette followed by large handful of walnuts. Had a big mug of Knorr chicken granules at 3pm when I waivered. Otherwise just water. One mug tea when I got up. Still fasting 12 hours o/n but trying to mix it up a bit to get my FBs back to 5s.
Hope you all have a good day and good readings! X

7.7 this morning, clearly paying the price for a few stressful days away with work, and possibly a couple of recovery pints if bitter on tuesday evening. A few days at home with no M6 traffic to cope with should see an improvement (i hope).

Hi all I bought a cream soda today that claimed to have only 5.6 grams of sugar per 250 ml the thing is after I had drank a few sips my hands were shaking really badly so I checked my BG which was 16.0! D: I then tested the cream soda on my meter and it came up as HI! The culprit is pictured above

Tesco do a diet cream soda which I think would be better not sure if it tastes as good though.

Around 15 minutes I also checked after I drank some on my meter and it came up as HI which could mean your blood sugar could be over 33.3 mmols
Just googled it and it states 2.2 grams of carbs per 100 ml, must be a lot higher, very misleading if it is.

I only ever have diet drinks now they dont affect my bgs at all niether does the sugar free squash
