What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Reminded me of when we stayed with my parents and the boys were into basketball in a big way. My Dad cut the bottom out of a bucket attached it to the side of the garage wall and produced a beach ball. Much hilarity ensued.

'morning all. 7.6 this morning at 9.30 am after a much needed lie-in. Feeling a bit lost now that my visitors have left after 3 weeks of their company and a very busy schedule. Have a good weekend one and all.

Brings back happy memories of when my grandson was a youngster he's now 23 goes down the gym every other day for hours on end squat lifts 400 Lb and starts on an economics degree at Lincoln University next month.

good morning all

4.6 today

cold wind again outside with showers, proper bank holiday weekend weather!

Currently just thinking about what to make for Sunday dinner then we'll be off out to buy the necessary bits
I was going to make a cheesecake but the weather is so much colder here the last couple of days it may end up being chocolate sponge with custard for mum and mr. gee and with greek yoghurt for me.

Have a suitably splendid weekend everyone

Another game where I want both teams to lose' @philchap1 are you ok at the level as other type 1s want fbg numbers higher? Hope all is good for you

I'm actually T3E like ziggy2017 and alf_josiah because of taking prednisolone they I believe take it as an anti-rejection med, I have taken it as a medication for MG for a long time but I always feel unsteady and and under the weather when sugars are lowish and even though not on insulin or other BG lowering meds have been as low as 2.4 in the past and that was decidedly unpleasant.

Yes I'm good at this level, lost hypo awareness some years ago due to length of type 1 ( 51 years ) but still in one piece lol

Late post - was 5.8 this morning since when I’ve been on the beach, and haven’t tested again yet because I forgot my kit. Can’t imagine anything surprising has happened in my blood since then but the effect of a big portion of black pudding on my cooked breakfast will never get recorded.
