What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all London black cab drivers fonts of all knowledge, why don't we just listen to them and then all the world's problems would be solved.
A surprise on the meter this morning a little low for me 5.2.
Well folks I have been summoned up to Mordor ( London ) to meet Voldemort's 3rd cousin 17 times removed. All of me's that is all 6 of me and my mates chaos and mayhem are not impressed.
A little tip avoid North Mordor ( London ).

Morning all 6.1 today after a rubbish night’s sleep. Packing up now for the drive back from Cornwall to London’s suburbia. Hoping Mr C does the lion’s share of the driving but the rule is that whoever drives gets to choose the music and I’m not sure I can cope with 5 hrs of ZZ Top.

Morning All. Gosh the 6.3 bus was busy this morning. Missed the 5.9 and the 5.5 wasnt running. Did have a Chicken Tikka and cauliflower Bhajee which were very nice along with some wine. Going to try and kick my evening G&T habit this week, havent bought any tonic. I’m sure sparkling water will be just as nice..sigh!
@Cumberland and @philchap1 sending different hugs. @shelley262 hope you start to feel better today. @Goonergal well done for staying with carnivore I couldnt do it any more than I could stick with vegetarian.

Have a great Epiphany to any board members celebrating today. This household will celebrate MIL being 89 and recovering well from knee replacement in November. Ten years and gallons of whisky to go before she matches her mum. @Cumberland and @philchap1 sorry to hear about your respective highs and lows. @Goonergal glad carnivore WOE is working for you. My moratorium on testing is proving a great success for lowering hr, weight and raising length and quality of sleep. @DJC3 how does a gal who like the Beatles and Elvis have the brass neck to pipe up re music??

@ianpspurs enjoy celebrating with MIL on Little Christmas day. Thats what Epiphany was in my childhood when a smaller bird was roasted and some of the other goodies were held over from the 25th.

4.4 today

Baubles are stowed, tinsel and lights are carefully wound up and boxed. It's a bit of an odd feeling when the walls etc. are suddenly much barer isn't it? (might get some plain white lights for year round use).

Roast pork with red cabbage and other veggies for dinner at mum's today and the last piece of the current mocha cake with greek yoghurt for afters

Dog walking later if the rain stays away, but it's pretty soggy at the moment.

lol. ... Put it down to twelve night when all feasting must be finished and decs must come down ......
