What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Are you still there today - Chinese New Year parade starts in centre at 12. Usually quite a good show if you’ve time.
I saw the signs but nope I'm back home - It was good to be in a vibrant city even for a short while though...

I seem to be a sucker for the bait thrown out about this time of year. Last year it was fasting and cream in tea that nearly did for me but I never learn. Interested by carnivore but genuinely don't know where I would get reliable grass fed butter and meat. Conversations with farmers and butcher's round here suggest I am looking for rocking horse poo if I want 100% conformity.

You should be OK with grass fed fish and grass rolled eggs. A large selection of grass can be obtained from several coffeeshops in Amsterdam.

5.7 , lowest for a while as been poorly with a virus and had a steroid injection in my knee. So getting back to normal now , but i have a feeling that this won't be a trend as my morning readings can be erratic no matter how i stick to low carb high fat .
I feel great though and getting back into workout daily now knee is better and i am sleeping good again .

Good morning and have a blessed Sunday .

You may see us as we are just behind one of the goals. Obviously you won’t recognise me because in real life I don’t look like a goldfish.
I'll look out for the the one with a big grin on their face just like the goldfish in your avatar which all ways cheers me up. .

Ian, I did a few days before coming away, as I wanted to be deeply unhungry for the 12 hours flight and having no clue what the airline (whome we had never flown with before) would consider a suitable gluten free meal..

To be honest, I did it, just using out local butcher's meat, as we always eat, along with some chicken thighs, which he doesn't supply. They do comparatively little chicken, and don't butcher it themselves.

It was fine.

As someone very tightly wedded to vegetables, I was astonished how easy it was, although after about 4 days, I did have one day where the most commonly visited rooms in the house were the small ones. Next day I was fine again.

I'd consider it again.

the idea of meat, cheese and in a cheat? Eggs is fine in theory. Practically I can see some issues. Julie and I have widely different tastes in meat, cheese and importantly what counts as cooked. I go for as close to still walking about as possible. Already caused lively debate today with short ribs. (There, you got me to reply)

Its not a traditional nippy little sports car Prem...it's an Audi A4 Quattro sports it's quite a substantial car...it needs to be for the amount of driving I sometimes have to do

saw a review of it on youtube..though this is a tin top and not the ragtop....

5.7!

proves beyond doubt. a drop of scotch cure(s) a cold.

off to the Etihad with my eldest (he’s a City fan) - the visitors today are Chelsea. Big game.

Congrats.

How about both teams lose and everyone is happy?

Result last night.

Missus calls says she's on way home would i like food ..?

mmhh..katsu curry..sound GOOD

Get out some spinach, steam a few mins, dump chicken and curry sauce on top..have about a 1/4 of the rice.
intending to measure bg to see how i get on.

DELICIOUS..though i think cabbage would have been a nicer bed..(or spinach drained better)

i started at 5.4
score at 1 hr..5.8
2hrs later 6.7
hour later 5.6

don't normally measure in such a time frame, but might do in future to retest how banned* foods respond in small doses.

*off to india in march, would like to get a better understanding of EXACTLY what i can eat now i have better control,
before getting too paranoid about it and spoiling what should be a great trip.
obviously will test and note once there in early days..just want a guideline before i go.

Do you mind Judith would make my life a misery for the rest of the day.
It's for the greater good although either of those two winning EPL far better than the bin dippers and definitely over the Woolwich Nomads
