What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hello.
I am type 2 since 2015.
I’ve not posted before.
I hope I’ve joined this thread right.
I will try and enter my Blood Sugar in the morning.
It’s interesting seeing what other people’s readings are.
I live in Wales. U.K.

Welcome @gennepher

Great little thread..
3 Simple rules.

* All very light-hearted, usually.

*Until one if of us is down or unwell,
Then it's all grown up and all hands ready to offer support.

Oh and rule 3...?

Enjoy yourself while here..:D

"Touch not the cat ... ?"

Oh, but who could resist this one?

Light hearted sounds good! I can do with a smile to set me up in the morning for the day :)

Support sounds good.
Thank you

Blood Sugar this morning 6 am was 8.9.

This is good for me as I am trying through low carbs high fat to get down, because I was being given more Metformin and then Sitagliptin by nurse. And the NHS eatwell plate strongly recommended by my dietician is disastrous for my blood sugar.

Yesterday I helped a 90 year old friend with his tablet. It took 4 solid hours hard slog to correct it, make it usable, and retrieve his email address with total lack of passwords.

I was stressed and silly me ate something sweet, then a bit more sweet stuff and more without meaning to. (The packet is in the bottom of the rubbish bin now). Hence my double BS figures yesterday

So today is chilling out in my sunny garden. My sensible food is worked out.

You all have a brilliant day >^..^<

5.3 this morning - so sadly back into the 5s. Very interesting that it was a very hectic day yesterday and I didn't relax at all. Also couldn't sleep because things kept going round in my head. So stress definitely has an impact on FBS.

Have just re-read my post and realised what a ridiculous post it is. Perhaps what I should have written was "5.3 - a really brilliant reading".
