    Makes me aware that having 7.6 this morning is a trivial annoyance.

    Thanks pipp back to a 6.4 now but im taking it easy as you suggest as have a banging headache i will try an never make that mistake again

    I'm having a bit of a weird day last night at bed time my sugars were at 3.9 rather low for me so had some carbohydrate this morning woke with 4.1 after breakfast 4.9 then after lunch 9.1 as I say weird.

    Muscle aches can be from salt loss. A banana can help restore potassium. Alternatively a nice plate of cabbage when you wake up ;-). Delicious!

    Looks like good advice as well as a nice kitty cat :).
    I've found for type 1 diabetes, an early dinner works well as if one having a traditional carby dinner say ar 630pm, and goes to bed at 1030pm, there's a good period of time for both insulin and glucose effects to stabilise. So any corrections will be based on that, assuming one hasnt had extra carbs after dinner eg packet of crisps or a beer or zoider etc

    7.1 for me. Thought ‘what the heck’ and had toast and egg for breakfast. Might as well have the carby toast, if I am going to have high numbers I will have to have something to explain them. :):bag:
