It will be interestingIf they do rise next week, that will be very interesting for you. Going to my granddaughter's birthday tea this afternoon so will surely have a good day. Taking my own food with me in case I cannot eat anything there.
I am going to try freezing the bread first, as apparently that alters the carb response.

Toast is my ultimate comfort food.. Ihave been leaving bread out of my diet, but have a sore throat and scratchy crunchy toast is what my body is telling me I need. Also hot rum toddies, but it is one or the other, and toast wins at the moment.[/QUOTE
I love toast too definitely comfort food
Know what you mean, What did I ever do before I found Diabetes.co.uk web site.... glad the sites back up and running was starting to get withdrawal symptoms.
Chickened out trying bread, but did have a sesame seed crispbread yesterday, just for the heck of it. Not had one for over 8 months. Bloods were around 5.4 to start with, went up to 5.9 so that's not bad. Only thing was, and it's probably psychosomatic, I felt really hungry all day.I am going to try freezing the bread first, as apparently that alters the carb response.
