What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

If they do rise next week, that will be very interesting for you. Going to my granddaughter's birthday tea this afternoon so will surely have a good day. Taking my own food with me in case I cannot eat anything there.:)
It will be interesting
Sounds like you have a nice afternoon planned. :) good idea you taking your own food with you, will stop you giving in to temptation

I am going to try freezing the bread first, as apparently that alters the carb response.

Toast is my ultimate comfort food.. Ihave been leaving bread out of my diet, but have a sore throat and scratchy crunchy toast is what my body is telling me I need. Also hot rum toddies, but it is one or the other, and toast wins at the moment.[/QUOTE

Chickened out trying bread, but did have a sesame seed crispbread yesterday, just for the heck of it. Not had one for over 8 months. Bloods were around 5.4 to start with, went up to 5.9 so that's not bad. Only thing was, and it's probably psychosomatic, I felt really hungry all day.

Fasting BG? Impossible. DSN isn't going to be pleased.
