What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

4.9 this morning.
@Pipp hugs for the horrible leg cramps, great restraint showed with one little salty cracker. Hope it wasn’t caused by the red wine though, what a blow that’d be.

I have thought about repeating the experiment with another bottle of red wine, but those leg cramps sure are a fine deterrent.

Almost there Pip, most of the symptoms are gone and all that is left is the afternoon tiredness and some wheeziness. As I don't mind cat-napping I can deal with that
 
6.6 this morning, after forgetting my insulin yesterday.
Must be all the cinnamon that cured me o.0

Luckily I'm still on a very low dose of basal only, so low carb and exercise was enough to keep me level - and I know this won't last either.
 
5.2 was displayed on the meter screen - absolutely no certainty my bg was anything like that. If indeed that was true I couldn't tell you how it came about. Other people will no doubt tell me - but then there's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis.
 
5.1 today probs due to a very tasty cheese & tomato omelette for supper.

What I have been meaning to ask that I am not sure about, is what do you all find an acceptable fasting level for yourselves?
Some feel unhappy at anything above 5.0? Others seem to want to be under 5.0?
I am just happy if I have fasting in low 6s or less, with no more than 6s, but prefere 5s rest of the time.
 
I personally like any 5 and the lower the better.
 
What I have been meaning to ask that I am not sure about, is what do you all find an acceptable fasting level for yourselves?
I'm happiest in the fives as I don't feel all that good in the low fours and feel definitely off in the threes when on the odd occasion that has happened .
 
8.4 how the hell is it that high had a low carb dinner followed by my routine circuit exercise in the house for an hour checked sugars straight after it was 6.4 before bed ahhhhhhh
