What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.3 this morning. Bloods were up all day yesterday looks like another high day today hope whatever caused the issue works itself out of my system pretty soon.

Morning everyone.:)

6.3 today still higher than I like to see and still no idea why.
Your theory about the oat fibre in your bread is interesting @Ryhia and I’m wondering if I’m experiencing a similar thing - a long after effect to polyols in the low carb cakes I’ve been eating. Polyols shouldn’t raise BG but I know I always get a large spike if I eat a Carb Killer bar ( only 2g net carbs) so I stopped eating them. I will need to experiment too. Good luck, I’ll be interested in your results.

Hello all,

@Ryhia and @DJC3 -- Hugs for the higher than desired blood sugars. I also use oat fiber in my h/m bread and I seem to be fine with it (but then again we are all so very different in how we react to food). I'm really curious to see the outcome of your experiment.
@PenguinMum -- It's good to see you in the 5s.

Fasting blood sugars were 4.9 today.

Can't try at present my bloods are too high and will continue to run high until whatever caused the rise whether that be the bread or something else is out of my system.

5.2 today. Much better than the last few days. Don’t know if it’s because of the wine I had last night or because I didn’t have any of the Deliciously Guilt Free low carb cakes.
Glad to see you are back in the 5s again @Ryhia
@PenguinMum hugs for the inexplicable. No rhyme or reason for it sometimes as we both know.
