That's impressive. I have walked about the same but not because of diabetes challenge but because of the lovely thing you see in my DP. He absolutely loves his walkies and on an average makes me walk 6 to 7 miles every day... come rain or shine, no break is minewalked almost 600 miles over the past 3 months,
I couldnt drive that far600 miles over the past 3 months
Giving a winner for that seems inadequate so have a superlative instead. Thought about exemplar, but I would not want to emulate walking that distance even for D, but its a brilliant achievement and I do admire you.5.4 this morning, and after completing the diabetes uk million step challenge yesterday having walked almost 600 miles over the past 3 months, I might have the day off walking !
Could just be that your stress is mildly elevated due to worry or illness.Morning All. Feeling dispirited with a 7.6 after consuming as close to 20g carbs as possible Yesterday. Previous day was 7.3. I do have a very sore eye after my injection early week as they nicked a vessel so flooded my eye with blood. It can happen, has once before but whether that has had any effect on BG I’m doubtful. I have my autumn booster today so heaven knows where I will be tomorrow!
Anyway have the best Saturday you can all.
Some suggest a small bite of meat or cheese just before bed, others fasting. Happy researching!Fingerprick 7.5 Libre 7.1
Might have to get used to these morning 7s.since my liver has decided dumping glucose from 3am is a good idea and I don’t get up and have breakfast for a couple hours after. Now to search forums on best ways to combat DP.
Wise suggestion. The glucose dumping is a real thing. Some suggest a small bite of meat or cheese just before bed, others fasting. Happy researching!
Stunning!Libre 4.9
Sorry to hear that.. chicken with 1/4 tsp turmeric can be helpful.our youngest dog has kennel cough, bless her,
Actually that is a good point... say body was struggling with cold, then based on what I read about release of hormones, maybe would result in release of cortisol which as we know is declared villain so far as BG spikes are concerned....The only thing different is we have put the heating on for a few hours
