At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee or tea, and reported our fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?...
It worked well as a sort of 'first thread to check' each morning and post to.

Morning All 7.2 today but half an hour late waking up so I can dream I might have been in the stickies at the usual time. Take care everybody.Up to 6.4 this morning. Sort of predictable given a F*it moment with fries & an ice cream at lunchtime. I own the moment but oh my, was it good!
Haha I'm surprised mine was as low as it was. Last night was fully loaded fried with lots of sauces and buffolo chicken. Followed by apple pie and custard.
