Bless I expect the pain has not helped but I am sure you will get to the 4s xxx6.0 a 7:30
My back and hips are still really painful after mowing my lawn and had to take extra tramadol and nytol. Would the inflammation or extra medication cause a rise in BG?I‘m desperate to get it in the 4s.
Have a great day everyone
Don't know about the medication but inflammation and pain could - just my opinion of course.6.0 a 7:30

That definitely doesn't sound very nice. Sending virtual hugs.8.2 but I am guessing the issue with me falling down the stairs on my butt has not helped. Horrendous pain yesterday and still got a swollen butt cheek left side ( to match the right from previous). I saw stars immediately after the event due to the unbearable pain. I woke this morning at 5am (didn't test) with bruising coming out. No pain on the tail bone - missed that, when walking just mild pain Just got one swollen left side. Ice packs and paracetamol and codeine are helping, also managed to take two small chunks out of my foot in the process, which I hadn't realised until after, I didn't feel it a the time. Slippy socks were the culprit, they are no in the bin!![]()

The short answer is yes. Nytol tablets contain maize starch and lactose, so not recommended for diabetics.6.0 a 7:30

Thank you. I did wonder about the nytol and only took half a tablet, as I always wake up at 2am for at least 2 hours And I’m fed up of having a c**p nights sleep. Can’t wait for the operation! The short answer is yes. Nytol tablets contain maize starch and lactose, so not recommended for diabetics.
The stress associated with chronic pain could certainly contribute to your raised blood glucose. Your painful back and hips may be making your normal positions in bed uncomfortable and disturbed sleep can certainly affect blood glucose levels too.
All things considered, your FBG is still a decent result.
Its not nice at all but at least I can scooch around with a comfy cushion and do something productive like sewing! Nothing too taxing. Feel like Linus from Charlie Brown but with a comfort cushion lol Thanks so much for the virtual hugs xxxxxxThat definitely doesn't sound very nice. Sending virtual hugs.
Thank you ianspurs xGood morning each. 4.6 here so fbg is in areas as they say in Bazballland. @Ladynijo loving the phrase sugar warriorsup there with nose bag event. @Lainie71 very careful hug for bruised glutes. Take it easy Ma'am. @MissMuffett stress is widely held to elevate bg as is poor sleep. Enjoy Thursday, only one sleep until SSSF
