Good to see you here. However, get yourself to doctor or hospital, pronto. As you say, @RobynV,

Keep us updated.

Thank you. I appreciate all the advice. Hospital. I already know that would be useless. Ive reduced carbs and inc’d proteins, good fats etc. I’ve kept up with testing hourly after meals. Peak after a meal can take 3 hrs to get up and slow to go down. Is that good or bad? Realise anything in 4s - I’m completely non functional. This means now avoiding fainting. Haven’t had a bad 14 again.First week 9-10s. Next week 7-8s. Now - more 6s. Odd 7 (Lebanese takeaway) This is better? (Except takeaway - even though I ate mostly lamb and babaganoosh (eggplant). Over 2-3 weeks FBG variable. Recently thyroid meds changed. Also at end of 6 week injection cycle (Tremfya) I have a lot of pain (now) from psoriatic arthritis. Mostly I take medical CBD but right now need diclofenac. Try to minimise. Weirdly I can start FBG at say 5.9 (good ?) then eat oats / yoghurt/nuts/ berries. One day - went up to 7.9. Another day - same meal - just goes down to eg 5.2. No up at all. Then I eat eg - 2 eggs. Happens occasionally with other meals but esp breakfast. Still waiting for appointmts as Lamont D suggested. I won’t qualify for continuous monitor but trying one might be useful? I have poor circulation in fingers and enthesitis pain in each finger already from PsA. Pinpricks a challenge. Also if I don’t eat roughage I’m in big trouble.

Too many to list here . . .
5.8 - Starting the week off well, I’m Back in the 5-Hive. Also, in the RWC, England will be the only home nation to be going to the Semi finals. Yeah, right, up against the holders South Africa, and what I saw them do to the home nation, France yesterday, I don’t think we’ve got an answer. C’mon boys, rest and recover! Oo La La.

Another 6.1 this morning. Still trying to get things on an even keel but have my covid and flu jabs tomorrow so we shall see what happens. Did manage to see a 4.7 yesterday afternoon which pleased me greatly, but to achieve that, I had missed lunch. First measure in the 4s for a long time.

Keep well folks.

Morning all, 5.4 at waking up. Don’t know about anyone else but my levels drop in the morning once I start moving about
Most type 2s and prediabetics find that their BG readings rise once they start to move around, taking a shower, feeding pets etc. Perhaps the type 1s on this thread can provide you with more insight.
