What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.8 this wet Tuesday morning. No idea why, just keep swimmin, as per Nemo.

@Ashybang, @RosemaryJackson - I can second the effectiveness of magnesium, it did the trick with my leg & toe cramps and I've been getting them for years. I had to buy a combo supplement last time with Calcium as I couldn't find any Magnesium on its own. But that works fine too.
On the sweet treats front, I avoid bananas like the plague as I've seen what they do to my BG on Libre, but I make the sugar free jellies for desserts like @MissMuffett. I've also got a recipe for a chocolate mousse, which is basically 95% dark chocolate melted plus a tin of coconut milk, whipped up and stuck in the fridge for 24 hours in little pots. Satisfies the inner sugar junkie without spiking the BG. Can't eat much 100% Montezuma, too hard core for me, dries my mouth before it satisfies.

@Ashybang You are doing great! Once you get your head round what could be a problem food, it’s plain sailing! Just take a look at where you were 2 weeks ago!

I love chocolate too, but find the 100% way too strong. Might be best to work your way up to it via the 70, 85 and 90% that are readily available...and cheaper. Check out aldi and lidl

Bit of a tummy upset, had me skipping afternoon/evening food and that's given a reading of 4.8mmol on awakening. It's gone up to 13.6mmol 2 hours post breakfast, but I'm sure reading will lower again as the day wears away. Saw some smashing readings today, so well done everybody.

Good morning
️ from California!

4.88 00 mmol/L 88 mg/dL. Happy Humpday
morning. Have a nice day y’all

Added strawberries, raspberries and an apple
to my regular diet. Apparently not a big impact on my BG, fructose will probably affect my A1c.
