What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Sending out love, thanks and best thoughts to all who have endured me, on this forum .
Heart felt warmth sent to all who need it..
Endured? Endured! Seriously? You’re real easy matey, truly you are. Keep posting here, and, if you are open to do it, research the The British Heart Foundation website. Youre gonna get a wealth of ideas and support. As part of my Cardio Rehab I train alongside their videos. I must add this was post operation and monitored by my Cardio Team. See what you can and allowed to do?

6.2 this morning. Decided to weight myself today after a period of not doing so for at least a couple of months. Really got a shock at how much weight I had put on. Not managing much exercise at present, plus I have got into the habit of having coffee with cream quite frequently, then there are the nuts..... change is needed I think.
Tis what it is, don't beat yourself up over it xx I cut the cream and upped my nuts and have had to rein it in as I started to gain. Only problems is I am once again constipated :hilarious: I just cannot win :hilarious:

Hi friends.....
My diagnosis was all very technical from scan results, with various arteries in differing stages of being blocked, by cholesterol, and years of hard heavy smoking.
The upshot was, iv had two diagnosed heart attacks.
From my experience of past 8 months worth of 'Episodes' of sudden turns etc, i suspect ive had a few more heart attacks (undiagnosed) throughout 2023.
I hammered my way through this period, by smashing GTN sprays into my system, to dilate blood vessels and get relief from these attacks.
I now know what to look out for in future ..........

Back home and im reading BG7.1 mmol this morning.

I would like to get this BG reading lower again.

Glad you are back home and I am sure you will get lower bg again. It wasn't an endurance from us lovely folk on here, its just what we do :nurse:

Can confirm have virus. BG at 10am was 10.6 though I don't know how how accurate that is when you've been up half the night to the bathroom.
Very thankful with having the CGM to keep an eye on blood sugar. First sick day while on insulin.
Note to self: Husband needs more training on sick day management and consequences if not managed well. He did get a lot of polyurethaning done though

Home from Mexico! Blood sugars not happy right now, not terrible but not great.
this morning was a very normal 6.3, but throughout the day it’s just gotten higher. I am exhausted and the stress of shopping two days before New Year’s Eve…it was crazy out there. I think a need a rest day or two, with excellent food.
love to travel but hate the long travel days.
also had a message from a doctors office….no idea of who this doctor is. Too late to call them and so it has to wait until Tuesday. This worries me…I see a cancer survival doctor, my family doctor, my gastroenterologist….it wasn’t any of those. I hate garbled messages…I listened four times, still couldn’t figure the name out. More stress…

@aylalake hope you enjoyed sleeping in your own bed. 7.5 this morning. I deserve the 7. I was bad yesterday, and my number reflects that. This is a weird time of year, difficult to navigate, I'm struggling more than I thought I would. My problems are nothing compared to some of our lovely gang. I wish you all a good day today. Happy Saturday
