What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Nothing worse than wet trousers. I run along the fields at the back of my house in sports leggings but my socks always get wet in wet weather, perhaps I should wear a hazmat suit

Steroids have raised b/s from 6 to 24.3
Spent most of yesterday at a&e, bloods still showing an infection from Christmas even after 2.5 lots of different antibiotics & 2 days of steroids, unfortunately hospital could not give me anything to lower b/s as worried insulin would drop it too quick, make me hypo & be unconscious, left a message for DSN to ring me tomorrow

Hi folks. An fbg of 6.3 today

Well last night our electrics blew because a skylight in our kitchen started to let on water and, for the purpose, it trickled right into the power switch for our boiler. So a guy is coming round today to bring odge something together short-term then we can sort out a more permanent repair.

In the meantime no heat - thank G-d it was yesterday and not a couple of days earlier.

What with that and crazy winds it looks like birding is off the cards today

Hope eternal springs to mind. @DEBBIESCOTT sorry you still have that nasty infection you are maybe still standing because of your fitness and BG control. Sending a hug. Also hugs to @RosemaryJackson and anyone else unwell. @Welshman1952 reading about your birding is so uplifting we once holidayed in a west Devon village in autumn which was full of enthusiasts with their gear. Have the best Sunday I’m having a FT with my 7 week old grandson! Bliss!
 
Oh gosh you’ve been poorly for quite a while now I really hope you start to improve. I used to love seeing your BG scores and was in awe of your daily fitness activities. Sending huge hugs.

FBG 7.3 this is getting boring. I’m starting carnivore today for 30 days so we’ll see how that goes!

I haven’t looked out of the window yet but I can hear the rain on the roof (my bedroom is in the eaves right under the slates). That’s ok, I can crack on with my cardigan and hopefully get it finished soon.
