What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

17.5 . mmol .Why do more people with issues not post? I’ve been absent from site as few with bad glucose levels post.
Evening @myrak and welcome to this FBG thread. We're pleased you could join us.

This morning's FBG reading isn't great and, if this happens frequently, I would make an appointment to see your GP tomorrow. S/he may want to adjust your current medication. There are other anti-diabetic drugs they could prescribe alongside the current one(s).

Meanwhile, how are your readings immediately before and two hours after meals? Are you doing everything you can to keep carb intake low? For dietary advice and help with LCHF, I'd raise a separate thread in the Food and Nutrition neighbourhood of the forum. There are lots of knowledgeable and experienced folk there.

Well on a personal level, if I have had **** numbers in the past I wouldn't post. I did find, and I love everyone on here that it narked me if I saw others with super dooper, shinny readings when mine were ****! Just being honest. That was my reason for not posting, plus life sometimes just gets in the way. The overall feeling is, just post good or bad, there is no judgement here, which is why I just post now! Having said that, I have been awol a bit due to other situations get in the way :banghead:

Good Morning,

Its been awhile due to two weeks on a cruise and somehow managing to screw up my arm. Thought I should get back on the bandwagon after my Endo appointment yesterday.

FBG Fingerprick 7.3 Libre 6.1 … bit of a difference there.

FBGs during cruise were better then expected though did have a few curly ones. Not sure if it was the type of food or the alcohol but 3am corrections after going to bed in the 4s and 5s was not uncommon.

Hope everyone is well … i will try to go back and scroll three weeks worth of comments.
