What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hello @Sharara. Unfortunately, breakfast cereal is mostly carbohydrate, so isn't a good choice for those of us coping with type 2 diabetes. Scrambled eggs, in fact eggs cooked any way you like them, make a much better diabetic-friendly start to the day.
 
Another 6.4 this morning. Disappointing, though I did forget to take the metformin last night. Temperature running a bit high overnight and a bit sniffy so maybe fighting off a bug. Off for a gentle swim later, got to keep moving.
 
Me neither @Lainie71. At least you know why this morning's FBG reading was above your normal range and you know how to get back on an even keel.
True, I have been looking at the peanuts lovingly since 5pm but I have refrained. I think I need my jaws locked!
