Weird isn't it. I also find that if I do a daytime fast or skip a meal my BS actual rises more steeply than if I had something to eat. Seems counter productive that I need to eat just to bring down my readings a little. The worst one to skip is lunch as normally my BS naturally falls after lunch but when skipped it just goes on rising till pre dinner. Sadly lunch is the most difficult meal to be consistent with in my daily routines.5.9 this morning. Have been fasting until lunch but after reviewing morning numbers I think I’ll be eating just a bit in the morning as it lowers my glucose. Experiment to begin tomorrow.
Mine does the same .Weird isn't it. I also find that if I do a daytime fast or skip a meal my BS actual rises more steeply than if I had something to eat. Anyway rambling on, borderline 6.9 this morning, must eat.

Those two tiny strawberries were the first fruit I’ve had in four months…they were so small. I have watched GG and she does have some sound advice.8.6 for me@Bcgirl, according to the Glucose Goddess, you should eat veg (and I presume fruit) before you eat the protein and lastly carbs. You get a lower spike.
