That is good no matter what I do mine rises as I get up and potter about and usually continues till I eat. Then after a good walk ( not always possible depends on my shifts ) it drops down to good levels .
Very similar to my results. They start to rise from 3AM, mid 6's to 7 when I get up and just keep on rising irrespective of eating or exercise. They peak at about 1300 around 10mmols if I have fasted or 12 mmols if I have eaten. Thankfully fairly steady drop back to 6 at 1800 then usual rise depending on dinner which my choice of foods does have an influence as to whether spikey or not.
I just don't seem to be able to influence that steady morning rise, obviously bad foods accelerate it but even no foods have little influence. Weird but that's one of the strange things I have discovered since observing CGM results. :(:(

That pattern is typical in type 2 diabetes @mojo37.

Your helpful liver senses you're about to get up and chips in with some extra energy in the form of glucose as soon as your feet hit the floor.

I find libre is accurate if I’m not doing anything, soon as I move libre goes up but blood sugar doesn’t
Libre can be 2-4 higher than meter when exercising
Started to have camomile & collagen first thing & it helps stop any spikes
