What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I think,it was around 6.5 this morning. Finally seeing my numbers come down after that horrid virus! My sugars were running over 10 all night during that time, so unusual. The last two days they have decreased to around 6.5 to 7 all night , 6 and change during the day, in the fives before supper. Chatted with my doctor today and she assured me it was totally normal and not to worry. She is retiring the end of February but it making sure I’m taken care of for a good year after that, and she said if I had any concerns that I could text her or email her, a perk I have never misused and one I appreciate!
the snow is coming. Actually we had a wee skiff this morning and it was very slippery driving, but everyone was driving slow…so unusual.

Brrrrrr …

Few flakes of whiteness here. Not serious but cold enough for the heating to not like it

The boiler tech man says he’ll call me back - he’s been saying this for a year

Somethings we just have to live with?

My glucose morning reading 6.4 -

Can’t say I understand that either. My carb intake consists of some cheese and a few nuts
Has done for months

Hey ho. Have a great day if you can

Winter is creeping in here. Yesterday morning we had some flurries, not so bad but the roads were an icy mess! Traffic was crawling, 30 km and hour. The warm asphalt and the cold snow was the perfect recipe. More flurries today but the air mass was warmer so the roads melted right away. Nine days until we go to the Dominican Republic for a month…..hoping the big snows stay away until after we leave.
blood this morning was 6.0, my best reading in a long time. I have my last dexcom on, it’s been terrible. Honestly they are such a waste of money for me. Maybe my Body doesn’t react to them well? They seem to take at least three days to have any kind of accuracy so really they are only good for seven days…that’s more than ten dollars a day! Probably won’t be buying them again any time soon (had just as many problems with libre).

Winter is creeping here too. We have a few millimetres of the white stuff . It will , most likely , be gone in a few days.

Have a fabulous holiday. Must confess to being a bit jealous
