What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Tore that silly dexcom off yesterday, total waste of money. This morning I was 6.4.
off to the Dominican on Friday, can hardly wait. Winter weather has arrived but the sun will be shining tomorrow so it’s actually ok…..but the beach will be nicer! Couldn’t contact my air bib host and was panicking so I contacted Airbnb and within ten minutes my phone was lighting up with messages from the host. I seriously thought I had been ripped off….but now it’s all good. It was more than two days without any response….not cool.
 
5.8 this morning, hopefully back on track after massively "carby" hols with little in the way of alternatives other than abstinence. A grim reminder though of upcoming Xmas over indulgence and temptation. So easy to take a wrong turning or two on a low (ish) carb journey. Would be much easier if we took @PenguinMum suggestion and hibernated for a while until the spring.
