I know that sentiment I have been awake more than asleep some nights .7.4, I really need to wake less often in the night!
Another nice low of 5.2 today. Like yourself this is very rare for me but it seems to be the low carbs (below 30g) over last few days. My usual carb intake is often around the 100g mark or even higherThat is very low the lowest I have managed was 50 and only for one day ...when taking care of myself ( which I am not at the moment ) I try and stay around the 80 to 100 carbs a day with plenty of exercise .
Cat nap with the cat.... Our Vicky was just rubbing up against my legs while I was contemplating a lie down. Hmm. Great minds.Morning All so 7.4 yesterday and same today. I’m another one who wakes several times and often struggle to get back to sleep in the night. I’m sure it isn’t good for BG either. Then often need a cat nap with a cat in the afternoon!
Stay safe, stay or get well all.
Call it a Christmas miracle, and take the win.Morning all. 6.3 this morning! It was 5.7 when I went to bed! But explain this to me please. Because I couldnt go to the Lunch club Christmas lunch because of illness, my friend brought it home for me. I ate pate with 3 triangles of toast; Turkey, sprouts, parsnips,carrots,3 small roast potatoes; small piece of Christmas pudding with custard; small hm mince pie and an After8. I ate the lot about 4pm and my bedtime bg was 5.7. How?? And this morning 6.3?? I will never get a handle on this Diabetes. I just don't understand how it works anymore.
Well done5.3 today newly diagnosed and feels like a massive result from levels in the twenties. Exercising lots, eating little and a bit scared. Hopefully eating will feel safer soon with increased awareness. I'm so pleased to find this community. Thank you for being here
