What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All so 7.8 which is mot great. Not a big day of food but had two very real nightmares which didn’t draw a definite li e between them and waking up to reality. @ChrisT2 and @RosemaryJackson liking your “run up to Christmas” numbers.
Thank you, agreed numbers looking good at the moment for me (6.2 today) but they are on the CGM and when compared with the finger pricks they go up by 2 mmol/l. Same blood but different measurement so comparisons can be a little skewed but can certainly see the positives of trying to keep the carbs low whatever the measurement used.

6.2 today
poured all day yesterday, I mean POURED….tropical downpour! One small break allowed us a quick walk to the grocery store. Another short break after supper….but only half the walk was dry. Got back to the condo dripping wet….at least it’s warm here.
my neck is good, hubby has recovered….one more week of this crazy holiday. Forecast not looking promising but as long as there are small breaks in the weather we’ll be fine.
must lay off the cashews…
my low carb diet is a dream here! Ground beef is way cheaper here, and it’s good. Cheese, sliced meats and eggs are a bargain. Pastured eggs are about $3 Canadian a dozen…I pay $6 back home. Extra lean ground beef, less than $5 CAD a pound, $7 on sale back home…
