What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.6 this morning. My neck almost back to normal…such a relief! Blood sugar is always high these days, I blame the sore neck and the many, many walks we do. My sugars always go up with exercise. It is what it is.
get another a1c done in early January, it won’t be pretty…

5.6 this morning

However I don’t know if it was being too enthusiastic with excercise yesterday but my back is telling me it’s a rest day today.

Well it’s Sunday

Have a good day all , if you possibly can

5.7 this morning which I am obviously pleased with. However just heading into the last week on the CGM so expect figures to soon rise with Xmas lifestyle and difference between CGM and Meter. Thankfully my a1c is not until April so will have a couple of months to get back on track but probably kidding myself as damage already been done.

Morning All so 6.6 today and before any congrats it won’t last! If I can get through Christmas without too many blips it will be good. Take care all, get well if not before the man in the red suit shows up.
You won't be on your own with the Christmas Blips!

Same as yourself regarding steps, 15,000 is about 7.5 miles a day which is no mean feat. Sometimes I can easily do 25,000 plus steps a day with a bit of jogging and running in between but it makes absolutely no difference to my BS curve or levels. I am not saying there is no point doing it as there clearly is because it keeps us moving which is no bad thing. However since testing I am rather disappointed that it doesn't make that much difference and now I am worried that if I don't keep up the steps what my BS will rise to. :(:(
Walking makes a big difference to my readings wearing the libre ( which I am now leaving off till after Christmas ) means I can see what an impact it has on my levels . I have had highs of 19 after fish chips and sweet stuff then gone for a good brisk walk ( 30 mins ) and levels have come down into the 8's and continued to drop . It is a difficult because we are all different but have the same condition ...mad eh . My main downfall is I tend to be a whole or nothing person ( and bread of course lol ).

A reasonable 5.5 this morning after a record low of 25g carbs yesterday. Wished I could keep to same carb intake every day.
That is very low the lowest I have managed was 50 and only for one day ...when taking care of myself ( which I am not at the moment ) I try and stay around the 80 to 100 carbs a day with plenty of exercise .
