Green tea works for my readings. Not sure if you can have green tea whilst taking meds but worth a try if you can.6.6 reasonable starting point but like @OrsonKartt and others my numbers rise uncontrollably to around 9 or 10 with or without food until a slow afternoon drop before dinner. Overnight drops to 3 or 4 while I sleep. Just wished I could influence this daily trend and get lower numbers during the day and rely less on metformin.
I've been dosing with a ginger ,turmeric, black pepper, garlic, cayenne pepper ,lemon infusions and ascorbic acid for a whileI don’t know if it’s just a thing for good luck but I have taken to starting the day with vitamins. If you don’t already do it might be worth a try ?
I might try green tea, but I would need to put milk in as tea without milk makes me feel nauseous.7.2 later reading this morning. Going to give green tea a try, must admit will try anything to get figures lower so welcome others successes and methods.

Anybody tried sunchoke plantstetw (Jerusalem artichokes)? Apparently they contain inulin and are supposed to be good for all sorts of things, including regulating blood control. I did try to grow the tubers a couple of years ago, but they didn't come to much. Didn't help that OH decided he needed the planter for other things so binned the contents. I never did get around to trying them. Here are a couple of links https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32583794/ and https://flavorycooking.com/are-sunchokes-good-for-you/ which give some info.
I’ve started drinking green tea & fresh mint instead of proper tea, not sure if it does anything for blood sugar but it’s greatly improved my oxygen levels especially through the night, the mint makes it just about drinkableGreen tea works for my readings.
