It stopped only to shout at me your blood sugars are 3.4mmols. Then it went clip clippety clop on my stairs. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend. I am off now to buy myself a mousetrap and half a pound of cheddar

You would be better of eating the cheddar your self and buying the mouse some trainers.

Colchicine is for treating or cutting short an acute attack of gout.

Regards the treatment of gout attacks should they happen the usual treatment is a short course of colchine and the use of an NSAID ( non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) such as indometacin or ibuprofen to treat the pain. This is usually followed up by use of allopurinol to hopefully stop the gout attacks happening in the first place or to reduce the frequency of said gout attacks.

Diet for both diabetes and gout is important so specialist dietician advice is probably needed as some delicate balancing is required to balance the need for optimal treatment of both conditions. Hope this helps you

Thanks for latest information I will be seeing my go on Friday so I will ask her about these questions on conflicting diets. The Naisd gel I use is Volterol which I use Has and when for arthritis go said this was fine to use.Ive increased my fluids cut back on caffeine,reduced my fats we always have wholemeal bread or granary if I have any,but unsure if this type is ok.
Never had gout before it's very painful,I need to find out how I'm going to manage both the gout and diabetes, so thanks very much. K
