What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@philchap1 glad your ok I know from your previous posts that it's usually a problem with the cannula must be a bit of a worry for you, so hope it doesn't happen too often, best wishes! K
The pump is brilliant but the cannulas are a bit hit and miss, and when you're on a pump it's only fast acting insulin, no long acting, so if a cannula fails blood sugars rise quickly.

OK, so what with it being Easter and lots of chocalholics herein some information some may find useful.
Just had delivered 2.5 kgs (5.5 Lbs) of 100% cocoa mass from Callebaut via Amazon. Carbs are 5.5% compared to 8% on labels of Lindt 99% and Montezuma 100%. Use by is 2020 so lots of chocolate experiments. (Never buy your wife an ipad and mention you like hot chocolate)

Edit: @Goonergal hope the managerial stress is not pushing up fbg and since you should spank Stoke handily all will be fine at goonergal towers :joyful: You by Monday!

Will be interested to hear what the Callebaut is like. Definitely a chocoholic and failing miserably to control my consumption of anything less than 100%.

Can’t blame managerial stress for higher FBG this morning - that was due to said over consumption of chocolate last night. The Hotel Chocolat 85% batons slide down a bit too easily! However I can blame work for missing out on all the chat here during the day.

Don’t share your optimism for the Stoke game.

Callebaut are like chocolate drops. Made some high fibre bars this afternoon with 100 gms of those melted, 100 gms raspberries, 3 tablespoons milled flaxseed, 3 tablespoons single cream, 6 gms psyllium husk powder and liquid sweetner. Left to set in the fridge while I did exercise bike cycle for an hour. Tasted good and gave a 5.6 after 2 hrs - I only ate half.
Apologise if this is a TL DR post!
Edit: Reading may be high everything is coming back about .5+ higher than normal just now

Sounds good. What does TL DR mean?

BG of 4.6 at 2.03am.

Its not the meter as I have just done a control test which is fine. It must be me. Was looking at some peanut butter ice cream yesterday but managed to avoid eating any. May well have something to do with the good reading. I hate being good.
