Is a scone cake different to a scone?

The scone is a large round cake of scone and made by them to their own recipe and is a cake of scone so what you have is a slice of the scone like you would have a slice out of a chocolate cake or some such. And the first time I went there I was about ten years old one of those golden childhood memories.

Problem though since I was last there it's under new management and reports are not so good utter disaster and I am desolate.

They still do the scone cake though when next I go down will have to investigate.

Cream first then jam. Many will be shaken to the core by such controversial architecture but personally sir, I like your style.

@Bubbsie Great fbg and good that your numbers are responding well to cooler climes. If it is all the same to you I would be happy with no Autumn or Winter in my life. Who needs socks, trousers, jumpers, duvets and coats in their life?

I love Autumn it's one of my favourite seasons...with Spring a close second...I am going to be entirely selfish & admit I am enjoying the change in the weather...love the changing seasons...hot full on sun every day...who on earth would want that

@alf_Josiah everyone knows the proper colour socks in sandals ( Birkenstock naturally), for those determined to commit egregious fashion crimes, is black. Also, in an earlier post you implied underpants should be worn with shorts. What kind of numpty doesn't buy all shorts with sewn in slips?

Sorry, I didn't imply. You can wear sandals and white sock with shorts, underpants or long trousers or if so inclined none at all. But repeat but sandals and white socks are a must. I hope that has made things a little whiter for you.

I'm orf out now to buy some scones cream, butter and jam wearing sandals and white socks and not much else

5.1 this am - setting off on my jollies in a bit as meeting up with old school friend to see the jersey boys and a catch up. Stay over and back tomorrow afternoon.
Hope everyone has a good day today think while I’m out I’ll be looking for a new coat - I was much bigger this time last year so need a new light/medium weight coat well it’s a good justification!

woow thats high cumbs did ye change pen .since the weathers cooled down a bit im struggling to keep numbers up maybe your basal needs tweaking up by a unit or so hope its sorted soon my friend xx

was 4.6 this morning.

Sorry for the late posting today just back from the local recycling centre offloading bits from mum's shed that needed to go. Found a nice big piece of Pork in the reduced section at the supermarket so it's in the oven roasting now.

For some reason my anxiety is really bothering me today, something that seems to have got worse since I was diagnosed with T2D. I suppose that if one endocrine system is disrupted for years (insulin) then I suppose it's only reasonable to expect that there will other systems that are out of whack too?

A good walk usually helps so I'll get to it shortly.

@geefull The Pork was a good find and the bg was amazing as always. Sorry to hear about the other issue. It is quite amazing what other problems people are living with and I'm guessing in other contexts would go to some lengths to keep quiet about. Hope the walk helps as without knowing you in the real world I have grown quite fond of you

I did switch the novorapid
I have got down today and currently sitting at 8.8 so it’s a lot better
