WelcomeHello. This is my first post ever on diabetes.co.uk.

No one can be right on all things brassyblonde...however diabetes care is another matter...there does seem to be a general apathy towards T2 management that is alarming..I no longer see the DSN at my surgery who described me as obsessive for testing my BG...now like you I see my GP for reviews who when I asked him how much he knew about T2 said honestly 'not much'...I accept he is not a specialist on any given health matter...he is in general practice...the most I hope for is that he listens to me...supports my testing by prescribing strips & learns a little more about my condition when I have a review with himI used to believe Drs were right on all things to do with health, at all times.
Now I struggle to not see them as mostly clueless.
Hope the coffee works and the clinic has a positive outcome @Bubbsie (you are only the 2nd person I have ever known/heard of with that name).Morning...an early start for ,me...an appointment at the anti-coagulant clinic this morning...I'd much rather go back to bed...needs must I suppose...hoping my coffee will 'perk' me up...woke to a 5.6
