Morning all. What with forum being down and work getting in the way, am playing catch up with the forum.

It’s a flat 5.0 for me this morning. BG has been inexplicably erratic the past few days and not just in the mornings. Suspect a duff pot of strips as nothing else has changed - @HarrisonK - like you, no explanation for sudden change.

@Cumberland - glad things going in the right direction and your positivity is always an inspiration.

@alf_Josiah hope your procedure went well.

5.2 this morning. Not keen on quite such an early start or a sudden gain of a kg. My body does not like being down in keto level carbs much at all. Could be fun this week as it is Embertide and I was going for the 3 traditional fasts. May have to change plans to the modern abstain idea. September has not gone well but hope springs eternal. Today's was the lowest fbg for this day of last 3 years:)

I guess despite the hype, despite the gravitas, ignoring the magnificent PR machine, in the end the medical profession is just another industry trying to make a buck the best it can.

Morning all. Just getting light here on the most Easterly point of the UK and the winds have settled a little. Its around 6 am and my sugar reading is 5.4. .

No one can be right on all things brassyblonde...however diabetes care is another matter...there does seem to be a general apathy towards T2 management that is alarming..I no longer see the DSN at my surgery who described me as obsessive for testing my BG...now like you I see my GP for reviews who when I asked him how much he knew about T2 said honestly 'not much'...I accept he is not a specialist on any given health matter...he is in general practice...the most I hope for is that he listens to me...supports my testing by prescribing strips & learns a little more about my condition when I have a review with him

Hope the coffee works and the clinic has a positive outcome @Bubbsie (you are only the 2nd person I have ever known/heard of with that name).

Welcome- I see you’ve been a member for a while. Have you had plenty of chance to read around the site and get lots of info/guidance?
Your BG score suggests your T2 is under control?
Hope you find this thread a friendly and informative bit of the site.

Good morning all. 5.1 this morning. Wild and wet here, gome gym for sure.
C-peptide came back at .5 nmol/l , which is a smigen low, but no sign of insulin resistance. Same as last year, so good it hasn’t changed. Back to doc this am to discuss the recent hospital visit. Keep on with the diet, trending at 27g of carbs just outside of Keto. Revaluate when I hit my weight target.
