What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good to know. I was going to have the roast dinner option at the club tomorrow along with roast vegetables. Better I choose something else
 
5.3 this morning. Much less stressed today. :) Visit to consultant went okay yesterday, but the hospital was absolutely stowed off. I really felt sorry for the consultant and staff as there was a constant flow of people going through to see him. Bit like a conveyor belt but in a good way I guess. Result of the appointment was that I was offered an op to fuse my neck. I didn't know what I should do so he said he will see me again in 6 months to see how things are. But it things deteriorate etc. etc... Just wish I had had time to discuss things in a bit more detail. Think the consultancy lasted no more than 3 mins.
 
Morning all. Firstly, Happy New Year everyone and altho belated, it comes from the heart. Just a thank you to you all who have been there for me since I joined this very exclusive club! Atm, I can't test, my thingamejig has given up the ghost but will be testing asap. Have a good day everyone.
 
Happy New Year to all :) 6.4this morning, thought it would be higher as I have had two days of occipital neuralgia to contend with. Thankfully it seems to be easing but its been hell. Great start to the the new year!

Morning all and happy new year , havnt posted over the last week but nothing has changed with fbg's. 7.9 this morning and other than 1 reading in 6's the rest I've tested have been in 7's only consolation is day no's are OK. A revisit to diet and exercise and we'll see if I can change that.

Feel for you! I have occipital headaches just about daily at the moment. Mine tend to be just a dull ache so not too extreme but they are wearying.

Just a bit aren't they :( Think the pillow was the offending culprit, I went back to my older one as the m&s one deflated after about 3 weeks. Time to seek out others I think
 
Morning folks! 5.1 today I have been strict with a low-carb diet after some spikes over the festive season.

Potatoes and bread are the main protagonists in my tales of dietary slips.

72%+ chocolate, a few squares after an evening meal have no effect on my BG levels. Hurrah!
