My this morning was 7.8 after a salad dinner last night and my doctor keeps saying that is completely normal and that I don't need any medication and that is not diabetes


Ps: I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes by taking Metformin when I was 16 years old and since I moved to London 9 years ago the doctors say that my glucose is normal and that I don't need any medication and no follow-up.

Mine was 7.1 this morning I’m still waiting to see my gp to confirm I have pre diabeties it’s over 7 most mornings but below 7 the rest of the day whatever I eat

Okay, new meter 9.5 new strips again from GlucoRx direct - over the range on qc test. Second new meter, strips from GP this time 6.8 qc range spot on, Think I may trial the freestyle libra as I am getting knowhere fast. Fed up with it, don't know which is right or wrong since I restocked from supplier direct, all with new testing solution each time also.

Hello and welcome. Maybe ask for a HbA1C test if your doctor hasn’t done one .
