What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

When is your A1c due? Wondering if the thought it causing you some stress uplift?
I was actually wondering that myself because I'm going through everything to see if it something I don't realise I'm doing ,like carb creep . Bloods were taken over 2 weeks ago and I surgery this Friday with doctor

Reckon if its just DP that is higher than you would like and your bloods go down during the day then all should be good. Wishing you well. :)

5.4 - Didn’t have much of an appetite yesterday. As my recovery continues I’m feeling fine, as long as I keep taking the pain killers. I tried easing off three days ago - ouch! So, let’s hear it for Tramadol! Yay! :D

I’m on tramadol too but can usually manage on 2 tablets first thing and 2 before bed. If I’ve been mowing the lawn or a bit of gardening I sometimes take 1 or 2 around 3pm

I’m also taking Co-dydramol which is combo of codeine and paracetamol. I take one of these every 3 or 4 hours. So, it’s complex but I know when I stray. Oh yes!

Are you still doing the Mosely diet?
Stuck at that for 5 weeks 800cal keto.
Only slight improvement in fasting but was seeing some BG in 4s later in the day, lost 6kg, was in mild ketosis, but terrible affect on guts, pain and and more allergic reactions than usual, needing too frequent dashes to the toilet..around 2kg have found their way back to me.

Sticking to less than 50g carb and around 1000 cals a day this last week or so, but making that average daily total . I am on holiday, so there could be some ‘glitches’ when eating out.
Today fasting is 6.5.

I am starting to think that after 18 years since T2 diagnosis, and probably having it a couple of years prior to that, with only Metformin to assist, it could be time to consider, reluctantly, more meds.
