It was an answer to prayer Ian. if I'm allowed to say that....an answer to prayer.

Went to the appointment thinking I was going to have to agree to an op as I had already put off the decision at least twice before. I was really dreading seeing him. Anyway, I went in and he asked me how I was, to which I replied "I feel as fit as a flea". He then asked me to walk across the floor and then said ok "I'll sign you off. But if you need to see me again, that's ok". That was just about it. I was flabbergasted to say the least and ecstatic, I was expecting at least the question of the op to be raised, but nothing at was all said. Daft as it might sound, having geared myself up to agree an op, not being asked felt like a bit of an anti climax. However, I am really happy with the outcome and I guess I may have helped to reduce his very long list by one and that's also fine by me. He works extremely hard.
I do feel quite chilled now and maybe that was reflected in my FBG this morning hope it stays that way as I wait for my blood test due Wednesday. Keep well - C.
