What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Greeted this Saturday morning with a 6.4 FBG first thing, feeding the feline at 7am. A bit surprised, as not done anything food or exercise wise to rise out of the hive where I’ve been all week. After a cheeky hour back in bed with a cup of tea and reading the papers, it was a more acceptable 5.4. Go figure!

@MissMuffett I’d happily take your boys for a walk whenever you wanted, but I think I’m too far away. Is the Cinnamon Trust active in your area? They can pair you up with a helper on a temporary or a permanent basis.
Hi @Ladynijo you are so kind and thoughtful I live 20 miles south of Lincoln. I haven’t heard of the Cinnamon Trust so will google :)

Unfortunately I’m in West Sussex when I’m in the Uk - I travel for work - so I’m no use to you. I came across the Cinnamon Trust through one of the volunteers, a lovely lady who had no dog of her own but missed the company, & wanted to help someone else. She was paired up with a couple where they had both developed health problems which made walks difficult. They do short term respite dog walking as well, it just depends on where you are whether you can get a match. I think it’s such a good idea & i wish I had more time to pitch in. Maybe when I move. I love walking so that bit is no chore.

abs and yoga today. Still very mild. They found a wee bear cub close to here yesterday. Darn near dead with starvation and no mom to be seen. It’s now at a rescue facility…poor creature. The coyotes were very vocal last night…another deer kill. It’s soon mating season and the noise…omg….it goes on all night! Those rascals.
Just love it when you mention your life in BC. I lived in Alberta with my sister and her family for a year, when I was 17. Yes I know its not BC but my sister did move to Vernon eventually which is BC, so I can claim a slight link. It's over 50 years ago and I still miss the country.

Afternoon all - morning fbg of 6.2 today, so pretty content
Update - for those interested here is a photo I took today of my wife's textile art on show at the gallery. We've been told the pieces will be added to the webpage in the coming days.

Thanks to all who sent good wishes
Fbg of 6.7 - big day today as we are hanging Allison's (my wife) pieces in the gallery. Really excited.

And I lost 3lbs this week too. Yay me!

Stuck in the stickies - not surprised. I was up every hour or so with a bladder telling me to relieve it. Serves me right for not intaking fluids yesterday during my volunteer shift, then trying to make up for it all evening.
