What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Bemused by a 8.4 FBG upon first prick this morning, so did a second about 20 mins later, when it was 6.3. I’ll take the latter - think the first was attributable to foot on floor, there was nothing consumed to bring on such a high figure.

But I think I will restart logging the details of my food, I got out of the habit over Christmas because it was difficult to judge exactly the content of meals and I’d reached a good place weight wise. Still applying low carb principles cos I don’t find it difficult or a hardship, but maybe I just need to re-set and make sure I’m not straying

I never stop logging the details of my food, good luck!

They now think I have pertussis aka whooping cough, steroid inhaler is keeping blood glucose in double figure for most of the day & doesn’t seem to be improving the cough, been to circuits & burn out spin (90 minutes), housework done, time for feet up
Have a lovely weekend if you can & hugs to all in need
