What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.4 this morning, on Libre but checked against my monitor and I’m 8.4 so perhaps there’s a bit of a difference between the way it’s measured. Will check this for the rest of the 10 days left on the sensor.

Finger prick readings and sensor readings won't always match @Margaretjamieson and in fact they are very likely to be different. That's because they are measuring different parameters.

Sensor glucose readings come from the interstitial fluid (ISF), a thin layer of fluid that surrounds the cells of the tissues below your skin, not from your blood.

I think I was 7 this morning, still very high for me….this virus and much life stress is taking its toll on me. My food remains ultra low carb.
levels have been high at all times of day so I decided to put on the last Dexcom, which is now giving me silly readings…the warm up is so unreliable! I’ll keep calibrating and hopefully I’ll be able to get some decent readings tomorrow.
