It sort of creeps up on you without you noticing. Hopefully you are still a young 20 something in your mind so it doesn't matter how many miles you have on the clock. Just enjoy it and take no notice of the years gone by.Thankyou.I am now officially an oap! How did that happen?

My Libre always gives low overnight readings anywhere between 2.5-3 mmol./l irrespective of whether newly fitted or not. However it always picks up and rises steadily until midday. irrespective of diet. I don't worry about what is considered "dangerous" overnight lows as I don't take insulin and my body always recovers on its own and I suppose it is just the way my particular diabetes works. On the plus side my finger stabs are always 1.5-2 mmol/l higher than the Libre so those lows are not really so low after all and as you say it is likely a querk of the Libre software.5.2 BG libre 3.4
new libre late yesterday decided to wake me up a couple of times. 3.8libre 4.7BG, 3.9libre vs 4.5 BG
after starting it alarm immediately an hour later initital sensor thought 2.8 was 4.7 fingerprick. Think i'm just gonna start ignoring the CGM for the first couple of hours and MAYBE the first night turn off off alarms. I do wonder what the software does with the readings whilst it appears to 'calibrate' over the first couple of days
