libre 3.8 at 5am 8g carbs currently 6.6 an hour later
pestered DSN again yesterday not much help told to 'try whatever you think is best for your long acting'. She has booked appt for me to see consultant... MID SEPTEMBER with c-peptide/antibody test 2 days prior. Popping down to 8 units long acting today. to see how that goes. last couple of days been swimming for a wee bit, ~30 mins swim time more time spent at poolside than in the water. 32 lengths isnt a lot 1/2 mile. Before diagnosed would swim 64+ very regularly bit scared now of lows and exercise not too sure what else to do, that amount of food during and after swimming for me is insanely high

27th swim ~4:30pm

Brightside stomach bruising is finally starting to heal looks so so much better over the last few days from singluar daily injection

I tried breakfast burgers from a famous burger chain after being recommended them as long as I omitted the bun. Sadly an egg mcMuffin and black coffee obviously without the bun sent my BS into frightening high spikes so have since avoided at all costs. Didn't find it particularly filling or substantial either. Not sure whether it is the burger, cheese or egg that does the damage for me but either way it is not the best choice for a quick take-away meal.

Morning All 8.6 and oh the shame and disappointment of it. Shame because it was bread again, not one but two brioche buns to encase my two bbq burgers which did have other good stuff in them. Its only the really good bread that I struggle to resist but I have to find a way. Next time will try one brioche bun open with a burger & salad each side. @grantg I don’t think DNs know the answer to much and I wonder if you should try and get in front of an endo. Glad you got some sheltered sailing in.

I am the same with bread ...I love it ...would rather have "good " bread than a steak .
