What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I go for the fizzy mineral water myself. Sounds daft but somehow I find a sweetness in the fizz
I find it an excellent substitute for cola. The only trouble I sometimes have is that the bubbles feel "scratchy" when I have a sore throat, whereas cola is more soothing (the sugar perhaps).

No reading yet as hubby needs the study to himself today (I can only get a blood drop if I sit in an upright chair for ~20 mins). Likely to be around 10-11 unless today's sore throat indicates an impending cold.

5.5 upon waking, 5.0 and dropping five minutes later. Getting rid off all carbs has really benefitted me. Lower numbers at the gym, abs and yoga, but when I walked on the treadmill (a must do due to heat warning here) my numbers rose and rose….up to 6.8. Why oh why…
Day three of zero carbs and I’m so happy with my attitude and better glucose numbers.

keytones instructing liver to convert some fats to sugars possibly. glad your doing better with glucose numbers :)

hopefully your knee injury will heal up nice and fast :) ps I've been hunting for RUBY kiwis ever since you mentioned them to no avail :( m&s stated they had them in some stores... travelled over 200 miles so far to try locate them :D gold ones are sweet not brave enough to try a full one... a tiny wee sliver suffices whilst daughter gorges on the rest. greens aren't anywhere near as nice
Thanks, Gold kiwis are in season, good price at Costco. That's the only fruit I eat for my metabolism.
