What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@BSP consistant with testing proceedure is more important however is using cgm's to avoid possible compression lows 15-45 mins after out of bed (still before food) would be a good idea which should help make result from both be closer. have a look at graph to see how long until it reads pretty flat after you rise in the morning and maybe base off that. for fingerprick method dont think it matters as long as consistant with times after wake.

Thanks, I will base it off my finger prick and do it just after getting up before I take the Gliclazide. Will see how consistent that gets me.

5.5 this morning at 6am. And a 7am enjoyable swimming session, 36 lengths today. Then a lovely afternoon painting the woodwork in my daughter’s room, managing to tip over the tin and having to clean it up. Thank goodness for satinwood, cleans up easily, but could have done without that !

5.0 on Dexcom, 5.6 finger prick….the Dexcom was so close to being expired. It’s off my arm now. I had two good days of low sugars and, as usual, my body is adjusting itself and the numbers are going back to my normal….frustrating but not unexpected.
The sun is,out, the heat is ON and we’re in for a hot weekend.
