What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

libre 3.8 not fingerpricking. it will be a bit higher than that breakfast then off a walk. wee bit more mild today so glad not needing to defrost the car.

I’ve found them to be easy to deal with, listen to what I’ve said and respond with a new sensor.

they have been easy to deal with. have returned 5 sensors total since jan. 2 completely doa. 2 for vastly differing readings (8+) the other i think was possibly 'user error' irratic readings after catching a few door jams. really dislike their courier service. dont get a tracking id, wait in for days 'next day deliverly' thats one of the few disadvantages of living in more remote area's most couriers are useless anywhere between 2days upto around a week. Only deliverly service which is good is royal mail they manage next day deliverly 90% of the time and rarely have to wait for something over 2 days (after been shipped). Thinking about trying overpatch see if that perhaps helps for consistancy.

I am taking a day off the gym…I go every day and right now I need a break. Long dog walk soon and then maybe a wander around Costco. I need some winter socks and they do have the best prices.
body needs some rest days wise move for day off :) winter socks seen so many cosy fluffy looking ones appear in the stores, did you get some? :)

Maybe my experiment is working ...... I've contacted the D B lead re e periment. Awaiting a response
gl :)

Libre 4.1
Had dinner & still at 3.6,
Antibiotics always seem to lower blood sugars
Strange how some things appear to effect levels in weird ways. Current sensor gave up the ghost. Nice to see 'continuous quality checks'. Requested replacement day 8 shut itself off just a wee while Fingerprick 7.9 around 45 mins after it shut off (takes forever sometimes to stab self other times still can't)

Waiting couple hours before try insert it when would normally be relatively flat graph. Activate before bed or something just had dinner (after checked glucose)

edit: removed duplicate img. must of made mistake. those readings are not accurate. libre usually reads lower for me.

@grantg, yes I got the socks! They are so cozy…
7.Something today, I darn near passed out! I don’t even remember what came after the 7….
I gave blood yesterday and did have treats but…really not that much.
Carry on. Gym was a 40 min walk and then a heavy leg day. I’m pooped….and still, brfore lunch my blood was 6.5. I’m annoyed.
Snow forecast for tomorrow..

sub 12 hour libre 5.3 fingerprick 5.4 :O closest have seen readings yet. Breakfast then off out a short walk in the rain. wonder just how skewed the readings of the last sensor were. Waiting patiently on response which can take 3-5 days apparently, filled it in online rather than called. imo abbots should change their about section where says "last 3 sensors" the current inserted sensor should be made to stand out alongside the day inserted beside it. can be tricky to read the s/n off the side of it when doing returns form. They also ask how many days old sensor was on the form. Who keeps boxes which has it on it or can remember what day number it failed on scrolling through to find a warmup period to work out date shouldnt be needed which is the other thing form asks for. Having to keep the old sensor til know if they want it back or not they've always requested in the past returning malfunctioning ones. Will be calling them when get response asking for tracking reference so don't need to wait in each day for deliverly hopefully for a change they will be able to give although refused in the past.

ps glad your socks are nice and cozy @Bcgirl wish i was brave enough to give blood, have rare group. My late great aunt gave blood loads, lots of certificates from it and a couple of badges. including a nice framed certifcate. does your country have a recognition for being a long term donor?

abbotts been relatively quick via telephone for them to ship. Issue on receiving isn't abbotts fault it's their choice of courier. Abbotts do pay for 24 hour shipping, courier service is the issue. I live fairly remote. last replacement sent 19th may was on the box i didn't receive it until 24th. if was given the tracking info wouldn't require to wait in for days. most courier services where im based suck the only one which has been fairly reliable is royal mails gaurenteed by 1pm special deliverly service even at that sometimes is the following day. hopefully companies do get the additional costs back that they paid out for 'swift' service. Normal post for me arrives anywhere between 7:30am and 4pm rarely 2 days in a row at same time.
