What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

libre 4.2 fingerprick 5.3. first night in a while libre low alarm didn't wake me :) still up a couple of times lot less than normal total sleep almost 5 hours :>

weathers back to heavy rain, did get to enjoy a walk yesterday nice long dry spell.

breakfast and thinking of going to mainland for a swim. Hoping local swimming pool goes back to regular 7 days a week if administrators manage to find some buyers for it. couple friends that work there been been given notice p45's incoming could of at least waited til after xmas til notified, the min winter skeleton crew for the park just got a fair bit smaller sad that those losing their jobs will now have added stress finding a new job what difference would a week or two of really made should of let them at least enjoy xmas

hope your throats feeling a bit better today :) cgm's can be so useful to see trends etc have fun experimenting a little bit i'd write some notes regards food 'good' 'acceptable' 'on occassion' and 'avoid' list :)

edit: ps might be better delay if not yet better
Thanks for the suggestions, my throat is fine now but I am running in the 7s. Its the dreaded stress/anxiety rearing its ugly head I think. Palpitations and shakes, panic and unreal feeling - blooming horrid :banghead:

Didn't manage popping across to mainland for swim took one look at the rough waters... Nope no ty. Went out a relatively large walk instead :)

breakfast short walk. some decor to do fancy a wee change of colour scheme :) small rooom first. like painting, dislike glossing.

Still got a single xmas gift left to buy, hard to get something for that particular person they dont say what they need/want they dont want to money wasted on them have 'everything they need' in past usually bought them some booze alongside box of their fav chocolates. Met up with them few weeks ago, they were going on about how much they still have left to drink from last xmas everyone buys him drink . Chocolates out of the question, recent diagnosis of diabetes. When met up with them for lunch couldn't beleive the amount of food exceptionally high in carbs they had and they wished to share a very large merigne for desert. Wasn't surprised they were half asleep a short time later. Half dreading xmas dinner there, have told them not to bother making me anything will bring my own i'm very fussy & some food allergies dont fancy what i know will be a huge carb fest.

Would a book token hit the spot. I used to love getting those. Or a subscription to a magazine.

Morning everyone. My fasting blood glucose was 4.77 mmol/L around 6 a.m. The holiday season can be one of the toughest times for people with diabetes to keep blood sugars within range. I’ve been having a small amount of chocolate each day, but still keeping bread to a minimum—just one small piece of sourdough. I also just received my quarterly A1c results: 26 mmol/mol. My PCP texted to say the result is excellent. Happy Holidays to all.

Dexcom 5.5, blood test, 6.7….omg….that hurts my heart.
No cheating, ultra low carb
Gym was abs and yoga. Bits of shopping afterwards
