This was mine... The Album of course. I was 7!

Cruel; cruel :)

Not quite a 78, but my first 45 was "Not Fade Away" by the Stones; I was always a bit of a rebel, even at six.

It was a few years before I started buying LPs - my first was Led Zep II. My mum wasn't very keen on some of the noises that Planty made on "Whole Lotta Love" or, indeed, his use of metaphor on "The Lemon Song".... :D

'Something In The Air' has always been a huge favourite for me and always on my playlist!

O.k. whilst I didn't buy it myself, My granddad gave me, In The Hall Of The Mountain King from the Peer Gynt Suit on a 78 and I still have it somewhere, don't play it these days as its so fragile

You always loved this time of year, moodys rule o.k..
And I'm not 95 either.

Originals favourite group.

Temptations, four tops, tavares, chairman of the board, stylistics, manhattans, heatwave, Detroit emeralds, Detroit spinners, emotions, I have over 5000 tracks from about 300+ Artists R&B, soul, blues.
Edwin Starr is another real motown northern soul artist who moved to the UK from the states because of the club scene here.

Motown, the Philly sound and other record labels likes stax, were pumping out some really great sounds in the sixties and seventies.
There is a thriving music scene out there. And I do miss it!
My way of relaxing g is to play my sounds and read or forum!
Have the Isley Brothers on now.
They led the revolution to modern rap and R&B!
