Did they mention diabetes? I suppose if any were diabetic they would already have altered their eating habits, hopefully.
I think I'm right in saying that they had a group of people who by their own admission sadly had eating problems, not weight problems. They obviously had problems with their weight but I define weight problems as an issue with the mechanism that decides how the body uses fuel for muscles or uses fuel to be stored as fat. If there are any experts on the Krebs Cycle, I'm still trying to learn about it.
Interesting, especially the number of people who freaked at having a driving test. They already had their license so where was the pressure? Maybe just me. Abseiling on the other hand, I could fully understand, along with skydiving and bungy jumping, that's the sort of adrenaline I don't need.
Also interesting that they did at least try to advise cutting carbs to varying degrees. I suppose we'll see how they get on next week.
@donnellysdogs or anyone
What's the name of the programme, Don't get BBC 2 here, but I can try and find it, sounds good
Thanks![]()
Fat wasn't mentioned at all! I think they couldn't bring themselves to admit as diet experts that they have been wrong for decades. If you look at the BBC2 programme website and the day by day diets they keep mentioning low-fat this and low-fat that so we still have a way to go.I'm guessing they didn't include low carb high fat - or did they?
