What's the weather where you're at.

Really beautiful winters days,beautiful sunny blue sky.
Gonna get frosty from now on,
Gonna do some star gazing. Think there's a planet in the western sky.
 
Woke up to snow, which melted during an overcast morning then a sunny afternoon 5°C - ending with yet another sunset, followed by light rain.

It's gone all cloudy now and no frost!
 
It ls cold, but damp and dull looking, 4 degrees with a scattering of snow showers

Depends what you mean by "lovely sunny holiday". We have just booked a week in the Isles of Scilly in August. It could be lovely and sunny, or it could blow a gale and hack down with rain all week. I went there about three years ago, sailing from Falmouth on a friend's boat, and we had a brilliant time, with sunshine, fair sailing winds both ways, and several fatboy breakfasts on the boat; also - pre-diagnosis - lots of beer, which won't be on the cards if I ever go there with him again....

Going with Mrs Hay-Char this time and staying ashore, so proceedings will be a little more sedate. :)
 
It reminds me of "Endurance" -- the Shackleton expedition. I'm waiting for those angels behind us to help us.
 
Strong and freezing local wind called the Bise. Like the Mistral in France. Very unpleasant but dry at least.
 
now 20.30 and cold ie 12 degrees but tomorrow 21 deg and clear blue skies. Will be able to sun myself like a tortise.
 
Actual temperature -2.5. With chill factor -11. Still strong icy wind. Tiny snowflakes. Got to walk along the lakeside as that's the easiest place to find a parking space. Nearly impossible anywhere else in town. It's really freezing in the wind there.
