Plateaus - bodies are very "conservative", hate change, and really dislike being asked to leave their comfort zone and lose a lot of weight. Sometimes they think there's a food shortage (in comparison to what they used to eat), and go into 'starvation mode' after a while, when they store every single spare calorie they can get hold of  .
So every now and again we have weight loss pause, which I'm afraid just has to be ridden out. I'm stuck at the moment on 17 stone, plus-or-minus 3lbs, which is why I haven't been on here very much recently. Usually this is when us serial dieters lose the will to live and go back to bad habits. Only this time we can't  .
Things should get better as the weather improves. Once it's warm and sunny we get out more, become a bit more active, and crave stodgy foods less - well, some of us! Giving the metabolism a shock often works - but only do it once
I'm obsessing about blood glucose readings now, not weight, which makes my plateau easier to bear. One other tip - are you measuring yourselves? Quite often we go on losing inches even without losing weight. Do the usual 3 measurements plus upper arm and upper thigh, once a week, and keep a record. Also try different clothes - who doesn't have something in the back of the wardrobe for when we're that bit thinner? I tried a nice bra which has always been too tight. Now it fastens right up to the last hooks-&-eyes!
Hang on in there - we can do it! Just make sure that those 'little treats' aren't happening too often, double-check your food intake - and don't stress - it puts the BG readings up!
