Seriously, can anyone believe that an obstructive pacifist who will throw non existent money at wasteful institutions, should be PM. Get real.

All Diabetics need to look at the Labour plans to tax all the Pharmaceutical companies to an extent where even without Brexit they will move abroad and more frighteningly reduce the research budgets. We shouldn't just consider the fact that we are very lucky to have 100% free prescriptions when others with Heart Disease for example, have to pay for theirs - we should encourage the development through investment of private money to finding drugs and treatment that cures T1 and controls T2 without having to think about it- that cannot come from Public Money as the country would be bankrupt. The last Labour lot already bankrupted us and its taken ages to get the deficit down without serious Greek style deprivation, how can we go back to that.

With Brexit ahead, we must have a leader who will go for the best deal for the UK not someone who has already played their hand and said they will meet in the middle - that actually means we will then start in the middle for negotiations and the EU will get what it wants.

I am reminded of the headline which surely applies more now than ever " If Labour get in then would would the last one to leave the UK please turn out the lights"

Scotland was told to vote Remain otherwise it won't be allowed in Europe. So she did. Now England has voted to leave. Scotland voted to remain part of Europe which is why Scotland is having to beg for another indy ref. You might like to note that a former Advocate General at the European Court of Justice, Prof Miguel Poiares Maduro has said that Scotland could indeed have stayed in the EU and UK - just as the Scottish Govt tried to tell May. Indeed, he's said that Scotland could have thrived under such an arrangement. Not that you are likely to read that in the English media more used to peddling lies to undermine the SNP.

You should know that administering insulin is only half of the treatment. It has to be controlled by monitoring blood glucose. For those on the NHS it means drawing blood frequently. For a privileged few it means wearing a Libre sensor.

For your information, the SNP are listening to evidence from a Holyrood committee and there has been some movement insomuch that they are considering the recommendations from specialists.

your reply is only partly true.
the libre does not have a low glucose alarm and therefore would not warn a diabetic having a hypo that their blood sugar was low.

Surviving the Election:

Stress does not help manage diabetes. I am desperate for my chosen team to win but I have to manage my health - right now what will be will be.

No matter who wins - a sugar tax should be introduced, just don't tax eggs!

The last big vote (Brexit June 2016) was meant to be the end of the world. This election will be similar.

Of course I may well have lost the plot by Friday morning and I will be stressing out and eating sweets by the bucket load if that bunch of numeracy challenged numpties are not out of a job, but I fully understand that we may end up with the best of a bad bunch rather than 'simply the best' and now that I've put that song in your head, I'm back to work and thoughts of eggs for lunch.
